Associated swine producers of Copagril participated in a series of lectures presented by the veterinarian and commercial technical coordinator of Tectron, Darci Elias Furlan. The training initiated on Wednesday (7) and continued until Friday (9), being held each day in a different city of the West region of Paraná. Nearly 120 integrated producers attended.
The first lecture was provided in the District of Margarida, in Marechal Cândido Rondon. On Thursday (8), the encounter was held in Pato Bragado, and the last one, on Friday, in Entre Rios do Oeste municipality. That one gathered the largest number of associated swine producers.
Lectures-swine producers-tectron The topic of the lectures was “New management of feeding at growth and finishing.” According to Furlan, the new management of swine feeding at finishing stage has diets that meet the nutritional requirements of each growth phase of swine, which provides better daily weight gain. “With this, animals will attain slaughter weight in a shorter time and producers will have the opportunity to increase the number of batches per year in their farms”, he explained.
Furlan further comments that the improvement in profitability of the activity is also due to the fact that feed contains nutritional levels for maximum performance, with high digestibility ingredients and modern technologies for animal nutrition. “This is how we achieve feed conversion, i. e., less feed will be necessary to produce each kilogram of meat”, the veterinarian assured.
